My Family

We are a pretty close family. We do everything together! And homeschooling means being together twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

We live on the family farm with 150 acres of commercial production. We tell the seasons by whether the field is dirt, machines are planting, the ditch is full of water to irrigate, the harvesters are here, the dust is flying, etc.! Oh, and the crop duster, he's my favorite (ha!).

The kids have full run of the farm and can go to Grandma's, and aunts and uncles' houses when they want. Cousins are abundant but are much older than my kids. It's nice to have so much extended family right here. The kids miss living in a neighborhood but if in a neighborhood they would miss the farm!

My husband works for the family business and is VP of sales and marketing. He's great at his job and loves it. Best of all, it's 2 miles down the road so he can come home on a moment's notice.
