About Waldorf Methods

• Handwork calms you down
• You can make a lot of different things
• Waldorf Homeschooling is soothing
• There is lots of art
• The things you draw are fun
• We learned multiplication tables with bean bags and it's fun
• You get cool block crayons and very nice color pencils
• No homework
• I get less frustrated when I am doing school work
• My work is more fun in many different ways

About Being Me

• I don't like my name, I would rather be called Crisstina
• I'm "up and jumpy" too much
• I'm athletic
• I talk fast
• I'm very cute

About Homeschooling

• You get to spend lots of time with your family
• you get to be at home
• You don't have to sit in a class room all day
• You get to sleep in
• You get to play more than working at a desk for hours
• you get to have fun
• School work is easier then public school work
• My teacher [mom] is understanding with all my work when I get frustrated she helps me calm down
• But most of all I love my teacher [mom] the most!

About Taking Medication

• Sometimes it gets stuck in your throat
• If you don't like taking medicine it's hard
• If you are like me it was fun at first and I could take 10 pills at once with just a sip of water
• I can take my afternoon medicine without water
• The medicine helps

About Having Bipolar Disorder

• It's not fun
• You get angry a lot
• Sometimes you can't control the anger
• If you are stable on your medicine you don't get angry
• It's helpful to be homeschooled, if I get frustrated my mom is my teacher and she understands
• It's not fun to get in trouble
• There are lots of consequences

About Being "Different" From Friends

• In some ways I feel different from my friends
• I don't feel different from my cousins
• Sometimes I feel different because I have more difficulties
